Need to let a web designer, agency, or team member help manage your domain? Here's how to add them to your Network Solutions account — safely, in about 2 minutes, without ever sharing your password.
Click your name in the top-right corner, then choose Accounts & Users.
Your account appears under My Accounts. Click the Manage button on that row.
Scroll down to the User Roles & Permissions section and click + Add User on the right.
Type the email address of the person you're granting access to (for example, your web designer or agency), pick a role, and save / send the invite. Network Solutions gives you two choices:
Tech is the lighter-access choice. Pick Admin only if you want them to help with more of your account. The person you invited gets an email, accepts it, and can then manage your domain and DNS. When the work is finished, you can remove their access from the same screen.
Log in, click your name (top-right) → Accounts & Users → Manage on your account → scroll to User Roles & Permissions → + Add User, then enter their email and choose a role — Tech (manage your domain & DNS, least access) or Admin (full account access).
No. The person gets access through their own email invitation. You never share your password, and you can remove them at any time.
Choose Tech for the lightest access — it covers managing your domain and its DNS, which is what's needed to connect or point your domain to a website. Choose Admin only if you'd like them to help with more of your account. You can remove either role once the work is done.
Yes. Call Network Solutions support at 1-844-570-3710 and ask them to add a specific email address as an Admin user on your account.
Return to Accounts & Users → Manage → User Roles & Permissions, find the user, and edit or remove their access.
